“The Spring King” tells the inspiring story of Luis Perez, who defied the odds to become a professional quarterback despite never playing high school football. A former professional bowler, Luis taught himself to play quarterback through YouTube tutorials. Overcoming countless obstacles, he won a national championship and the Harlan Hill Trophy in college before playing in the NFL, USFL, UFL, and XFL, where he secured a championship. This memoir chronicles the dedication and perseverance that fueled his rise. Now competing in the UFL, Luis remains driven by his dream of returning to the NFL. “The Spring King” is a testament to resilience and the power of relentless determination.
